Dental implants

There are cases in which an entire tooth of a person goes missing. This might be the consequence of an injury possibly, and in order to cover up the gap, dental implants are used. Dental implants are quite excruciating at times owing to the fact that the patient has to visit the dentist multiple times in order to complete the process. One needs to have a burly structure of bone in order to go ahead with dental implants. There are cases when the bone structure is relatively weak, and in such cases, the patient has to go through certain subsidiary procedures in order to have a stable implant. Now, with the use of a screw made up of titanium, the root of the tooth is replaced vigilantly. The whole process of dental implants takes 3-5 months to complete.
Over the past few decades, there have been few more procedures to conduct dental implants, and these involve immediate placement of artificial teeth. Hence, the process is less time-consuming in comparison to the former process. However, there is certainly a downside of this procedure. The dentist who is conducting the whole process has less control over the regulation of the healing process of the patient.
